The story

A custom motocross wrap that started as a Christmas gift for a client's five-year-old son — a rough sketch turned into bold, production-ready vinyl graphics fitted to the real curves of a dirt-bike frame.

The visuals had to feel fast and personal while staying readable at speed and technically sound across complex motocross frame curves.

Layered blue graphics, rider details, bold numbering, and production-minded panel layouts kept the design expressive without losing fit or clarity.

A personal commission that shows how story, illustration, and production discipline can turn a small sketch into a complete physical object.

Creative Direction

A Christmas gift for a client's five-year-old son: a full custom motocross wrap, started from a rough sketch and built into a bold, high-energy graphic system reflecting one young rider's personality. Every choice had to read as exciting and legible at speed, and every shape had to survive being wrapped around the complex curves of a dirt-bike frame.

From Sketch to Wrap

The design moved from a rough concept sketch to print-ready, layered artwork built specifically for panel fit — working directly with the vinyl print shop to make sure color, scale, and contours all lined up across every curved surface of the bike before a single panel was cut.

Field Notes

The smallest client on this list is five years old, and the brief was still real: durable, exciting, technically sound for production. It's the project that proves the same rigor applies whether the client is a casino or a kid who wanted his bike to look fast standing still.
