Email info@dustydogstudios.com with your app version, iOS version, iPhone model, what you expected and the steps that caused the problem. Remove private task names and personal information from screenshots. Please don’t send passwords, payment details or your complete task database.
Reminders not appearing?
Check Dead Weight’s notification permission in iPhone Settings, including its alert styles. Focus modes, notification summaries and preview settings can affect what you see. Check the reminder’s date, time and scheduling status in the app, and open Dead Weight to replenish future notifications.
Check alarm permission separately.
Wake alarms use Apple’s alarm system. Review alarm permission in iPhone Settings, then confirm the time, selected days and scheduling status in Dead Weight. “Scheduled” is different from a permission error or a scheduling failure. Optional wake checks use notifications.
Timer or Live Activity missing?
Check that the timer is still running in Dead Weight. Review the app’s Live Activities setting in iPhone Settings where available. Lock Screen and Dynamic Island presentation depends on the device, system settings and iOS.
Choose where the crow gets loud.
App tone, Clean notifications and adult-content permissions for individual surfaces are separate choices. Unhinged requires adult confirmation, and adult share cards have their own opt-in. Go Easy softens the day’s commentary and pauses optional nudges; task reminders and wake alarms retain their own schedules.
Keep private things private.
Hide private task content and the Today widget’s task-text control are in the app’s privacy settings. Also review iOS Show Previews. A card you share is an image sent to the destination you choose; check its preview and recipient name before sharing.
Your local data.
Settings includes Export local data and Delete local data. Deleting the app’s local data does not delete copies you exported, images already shared, support emails or device backups. Keep a copy you need before deleting anything.
