1. Publisher and scope
These Terms of Use govern Dead Weight, an iPhone app provided by Dusty Dog Studio LLC. By selecting “I agree to the Terms of Use” and finishing the acceptance screen, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not finish acceptance or use the app. Contact info@dustydogstudios.com with questions.
2. Personal use and intellectual property
Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use the app for personal purposes. The app, its crow artwork, branding and supplied content remain protected by their owners’ intellectual-property rights. The sharing feature permits you to share the cards it creates for their intended personal use; it does not transfer ownership of the artwork or permit resale of the content.
3. Tone and adult humour
Dead Weight includes sarcasm and optional profanity. Unhinged includes adult humour and requires explicit confirmation that you are at least 18. Choose a tone and surface permissions that suit you. You can change those settings. Commentary is entertainment and is not professional, medical or mental-health advice.
4. Responsible sharing
Share cards with people who will welcome them. Do not use the app or its content to harass, threaten, discriminate against or impersonate someone. You are responsible for names and other content you add and for the destinations and recipients you choose. Review the image before sharing it.
5. Reminders and alarms
Permissions, device state, connectivity where relevant, operating-system limits and system behaviour may affect scheduling, delivery or display. Check actual scheduling status and maintain another safeguard for important obligations. Dead Weight must not be your sole safeguard for safety-critical needs.
6. Your content and copies
You retain responsibility for the information you enter and for keeping copies you need. Local deletion may not remove exported files, backups, shared images or information retained by another service. The Privacy Policy explains how the app and website handle information.
7. Availability and support
Features may change with app and operating-system updates. Availability and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Contact info@dustydogstudios.com for support; no particular response time is promised. Material changes to these terms will have an updated effective date and will require renewed acceptance in an updated app.
8. Purchases
This version does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any future purchase offering will present its product and billing terms separately before you buy.
9. Applicable rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every need or operate without errors. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
